The final years of John Barlow's life
were spent in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; and that is presumably where he
was buried. Genetic DNA tests have proven that he and William
Henry Barlow are closely related, but it is not yet clear as to their
exact relationship -- whether they were father/son, uncle/nephew or
cousins, etc. Both lineages descend from the Isle of Wight,
Virginia Barlow family line.
