John Maultsby 'Doc' Barlow/Barlar

(1861 - 1949)

John Maultsby Barlow was the 5th of 10 children born to William Henry Barlow & Susan Frances Phillips.  Married twice, 'Doc' fathered 10 children of his own, however, 3 did not survive.  Doc's permanent home was in Lynnville, TN., where he earned his living from farming.  His home was frequently the gathering place for the annual Barlar family reunions.  Both Doc and his younger brother, 'Pink', died in 1949.
