Nancy M. Barlow has only been found in the 1850 Lawrence County, TN census report under the household of John & Elvira Barlow. Her age was listed as 22, placing her birth year at 1827/28, and her place of birth was listed as TN.

Although it is currently believed that Nancy was the daughter of John Barlow - probably
by a first wife -. it has not yet been possible to document that as fact. Nancy could also
have been John's niece, cousin, or daughter-in-law who was living in his Lawrence Co., TN
household at the time the 1850 census report was recorded.Since no listing for Nancy has been found after the 1850 census, it is assumed that she
married and that any additional records pertaining to her would be under her married name.
It is also possible that she relocated to some other county in Tennessee or to some other
state.
